This is a simple, minimalist jQuery powered navigation bar, inspired by Orman Clark's 'Simple and Clean Navigation Menu', but with a couple of small changes. It's also built using sprites, to minimise HTTP requests, which is a necessity for building fast pages.
Note: This nav menu is fully functional across all major browsers (including IE6).
This version of the nav bar is built entirely using CSS3, with no images whatsoever; what this means is that it's functionality and appearence vary across different browsers and it shouldn't really be used in a production environment. However, it is a useful exercise in stufying the various new presentational techniques found in CSS3 (like transforms).
Note: For the best experience, use a: Webkit browser; a FF4 or IE9 beta; or Opera 10. It is useable in FF 3.x but not perfect.
