I founded Eight Bit in 2007, not as an excuse to slack off and take credit for other people’s hard work as some have accused, but to start working in the way I’ve always felt was most beneficial to clients and their businesses: by placing personal relationships at the very heart of the process, while at the same time delivering massively kick ass products.
Since then it’s gone from strength to strength, allowing me to spend more and more time slackin- I mean working hard on customer projects and not playing Minecraft. Nope. No Minecraft or reddit during work hours. Never. Especially not during billable hours.
As you may have already be able to guess from my name, I’m half Swedish, so while I enjoy cold weather, winter skinny dipping and herring; my British side means I also enjoy complaining and I never perform adequately at international football tournaments. I own a very old and occasionally very smelly dog named Blue, who if not sleeping is plotting my murder: usually by positioning himself under my feet at the top of the stairs.
I’m currently single, but still hold out the hope of finding a Star Wars obsessed and double jointed young woman with an elderly but very rich uncle. Although if I’m honest I’d settle for a someone who’s only mildly irritated by me spending ungodly amounts of time playing Dwarf Fortress.
